Selected terroir located on the scree slopes of the Luberon mountain.
80 % Syrah, 20 % Grenache noir.
Grapes harvested end of September. Cold temperature soaking of the grapes prior to fermentation for 4 days, followed by an alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature (20°C-22 °C) to get the maximum extraction of the fruit aromas.
Deep ruby color. The nose is intense, with a dominant blackcurrant. In mouth, Grenache brings richness and balance. The final is long and fruity with silky tannins.
Best served a little fresh, between 14 and 16°C. To drink within 4 years. A great match for your favourite meats, game, cheeses and especially lamb brochettes with fried eggplants.
