The vineyard is located on the southern slope of the Ventoux Appellation. The deep soil is made of sand and chalk that enable the vineyards to resist to drought.
70% Syrah 30% Grenache
The late harvest helps smoothen the grapes skin so the maceration can last at least 3 weeks. This method brings depth and a silky feeling to the wine. 15% of the wine is aged in used French oak barrels.
The nose expresses cherry, blackcurrant, blond-tobacco and an elegant minerality (Graphite). The mouth is full with ample but harmonious and smooth tannins.
To be served at 18° C. Best served with any type of red meat in a sauce. Ageing potential : 7 years.
